The first is a mixed media piece similar to what I was experimenting with in the montage video shoot. I want to explore a creative blend of still photos, video, and music, with effects and alternative styled shots and scene transitions. I need to write the script on a good storyboard for the project before I can begin shooting. Shooting the project will take time but the editing is where the majority of my energy will be spent.
The second idea for the final project would be a video to incoming freshman for only incoming freshman in VPA. This video would be more of a documentary style informational piece that would aim to ease the adjustment from high school to college. I would provide helpful information giving helpful tips on housing, the campus and bus system, best dining halls, in and outs of blackboard/myslice/mymail and balancing your classes between electronics and physical work, fraternity/sorority partying, events - getting tickets at schine, using your card to swipe into bball games, and much more in depth valuable information that define life at Cuse for freshman.
